In the spirit of St. Valentine’s day, St. Teresa of Calcutta’s instruction ‘to do small things with great love’ seems a perfect description of Contrinex’s range of miniature sensors, where industry-leading performance is provided in the tiniest of sensors.
Inductive sensors, for example, are available from Ø3mm for operating pressures up to 150 bar, or M5 for pressures up to 500 bar pressure. The ‘Extreme’ family of inductive sensors are offered with a robust one-piece stainless-steel housing, long operating distances and factor 1 sensing on steel and aluminium, from Ø4mm and M5.
The Photoelectric sensors are available with a 500mm sensing range in steel housings from Ø4mm or M5, which feature a sapphire-glass sensing face, which is scratch and chemically resistant. Alternatively, a 90mm sensing range is offered in a tiny 5mm x 7mm x 40mm, rectangular housing.

APPLICATION EXAMPLE: GRIPPERS
The Miniature inductive sensors within the Full Inox ‘Extreme’ series are excellent for gripper applications, because they combine miniature size with an extremely rugged one-piece stainless-steel housing and a long sensing range for outstanding efficiency and reliability.
Dimensions within the machine can therefore be reduced to a minimum without a reduction in sensing performance or life.
